It took me 15 hours to reach Hong Kong from Los Angeles, another three
hours to touch the Bangkok airport and then three more hours to reach
Dhaka, the final destination on this leg of journey. The journey was
smooth. The pilot knew what he was doing. The staff was aware of its
duties. Despite the fact, that the passengers came from different
ethnic, religious, social and linguistic backgrounds, all followed the
rules, because they knew that any violation would disrupt the journey
and hurt their fellow passenger. Each followed the rules primarily
because each was eager to reach the destination safely.
But it would not take me more than second to reach to a world, unknown
to each one of us. It is the world that comes after this world and
after this life. Much of how do we do in that world depends on how we
conduct our affairs in this world. We are free to do whatever we want
to do here in this world. We are not bound by a predetermined destiny
as we all come here to write our own destiny with our words and
actions. We are not controlled by anyone in choosing our actions. We
are born with a free will and the manner we exercise it would create a
new world for us in the life hereafter.

A beg your forgiveness in advance. Forgiveness if my liberal optimistic blog offends. I realize that someone may see this blog as another attempt to be apologetic for Muslim behavior. However the truth is Muslims are just human beings. Somehow we have become so intoxicated with the past accomplishments, its leaders and followers that we burden this generation. Whenever we talk about Muslims we judge them next to the Sahabah. Don’t get me wrong, they are examples to follow but there is a big difference between following their example and being measured by them. To be measured next to them is unfair and almost impossible. They were nurtured on the Quran from the spoon of the Prophet himself. The Sunnah was their diet, prepared for them by the Prophet. And even with that they were still human beings.

Should Muslim Organizations withdraw from the ongoing dialogue with
the FBI in Las Vegas or elsewhere? The American Task Force, a
representative body of Muslim
organizations created to have a unified political agenda, supports the
idea of Muslim withdrawal. CAIR, a constituent of the ATF calls the
ongoing FBI tactics, a smear campaign against Islam and Muslims and
describes the dialogue with the FBI a futile effort. Some other Muslim
organizations have expressed similar opinions.
This position emerged when it was disclosed a few months ago that FBI
had planted a spy in a
Southern California mosque and launched a sting operation to target a
few suspected individuals.
The questions that need to be asked, then, are: whether it is legal
and constitutional on the part of FBI to initiate these tactics? Is
there some strong evidence to suggest that some FBI officials acted on the basis of their personal biases against Muslims and Islam? Is there
any evidence that the law enforcement agencies violated any law or
acted against the spirit of our constitution? If they did, we must
knock every door to bring them to task, no matter what the price.
We are a nation that adhere to law. Even if lies are fabricated, they
are done legally. For instance, the legality of Iraq was based on all
manufactured fears and doctored lies by the previous Administration.
The present Administration changed the nation's Iraq policy legally
when it assumed responsibilities after the election. Were any laws broken? That should be the main concern of conscious
citizens? No one is above law and no one should be allowed to get away
with his or her illegal action.
